Editorial policy & affiliate disclosure

    Who writes this

Quota Engine is an independent research publication run by operators who have bought, deployed and cancelled the tools in this directory. We are not a marketplace and we do not sell placements.

Every product profile names the editorial team that produced it. Where a page carries a byline, that person is accountable for the verdict on it.

    How products enter the index

A product is listed when it is actively sold to B2B teams and has either public pricing or public documentation we can verify. There is no listing fee, and no vendor can pay to be added, reordered or removed from a negative verdict.

Products we cannot verify — no public pricing, no documentation, no reachable site — are excluded rather than described from a press release.

    How we evaluate

Four criteria, weighted the same way for every listing: (1) verifiable public pricing and renewal terms, (2) integration depth with a real GTM or accounting stack, (3) EU/DACH regulatory and GDPR reality including data residency and DPA availability, and (4) total cost of ownership after seat, FX and compliance renewals.

Pricing is read from the vendor’s own pages and re-checked each quarter. Where a vendor hides pricing behind a sales call, we say so instead of inventing a number.

    Affiliate and referral disclosure

Some outbound links are affiliate or referral links. When you open one and become a customer, we may receive a commission or a referral bonus at no extra cost to you. These links are marked rel="sponsored" and labelled on the page.

Commercial relationships never determine inclusion, ordering or verdict. Where a partner is also a top pick, that ranking was set before the partnership existed and is reviewed on the same schedule as everything else.

We do not publish review counts, star ratings or "X% of users" claims that we cannot source. If a rating appears, it comes from a named public platform and links to it.

    Corrections

If a price, feature or compliance claim is wrong, tell us and we will correct it and note the change date. Vendors are welcome to send factual corrections; they are not offered editorial approval.
